Tucked away on the edge of a valley between Praze- an- Beeble and Crowan villages and set amidst rolling, ancient farmland and woodlands stands Trenoweth House. With a pretty and atmospheric ornamental pond filled by the river Hayle on the start of its journey to the sea, the vicarage and its three cottages provide a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life and is yet within easy striking distance of the some of the most beautiful scenery, beaches and landscape of West Cornwall including the Lizard, St Michaels Mount and Marazion, Penzance and Newlyn as well as St Ives and Godrevy and the dramatic north coast. Falmouth to the east is half an hour away and Truro, the county’s capital is a 40 minute drive. The local train station at Camborne has trains to London within 4.5 hours. And for lovers of Winston Graham’s Poldark series and Daphne Du Maurier’s Cornish novels, reminders of the area’s rich history of mining and farming abound.
