Close to the vicarage, Coachmans Cottage was  originally built as stables and a coach house at the same time and following recent refurbishment within is now a striking, contemporary self contained two bedroomed cottage  with its own terrace and lawn.

Adjacent to the vicarage, The gardener’s cottage is a one storey studio with its own terrace and verandah that  overlooks the walled kitchen garden with its orchard,  fruit and flower beds. It’s a quiet and peaceful space to escape, relax or work. Built from granite  its outward rustic appearance belies the modern simplicity of its interior where you will find everything you need for a wonderful break.

Woodman’s cottage is an enclosed self contained space with its own terrace and a view to the kitchen garden beyond. Although once a wood store and built of granite, the single level studio has a contemporary, Scandinavian interior and houses everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

From rolling lawns of meadow grasses and wild flowers, a flat oval lawn for picnics and games, an ornamental swimming pond fed by the crystal clear River Hayle and enclosed by woodland with its own waterfalls and rivulets ,to the kitchen garden; the property harnesses the best of rural Cornwall.A haven for local wildlife, keep an ear out for tawny owls and buzzards and the jackdaws as you follow the path that encircles the land. The birds, and the bees love it here and you can spot the odd kingfisher or heron too as well as tiny pipistrell bats.
